In Dec 2025, some Everty charging stations were added to the AGL EV app, visible if “Show roaming networks” is selected in the filter. PlugShare app is a key app as it shows locations of most EV charging networks, non networked chargers and home chargers, reviews on their status, an alert system to notify you when they’re available, a trip planning function, ability to filter for charger speed, filter for AC or DC, filter for chargers at accommodation venues, ability to see chargers restricted to guests and to see chargers comming soon. Download PlugShare from Apple or Google Play. PlugShare is owned by EVGo Inc.
PlugShare also provides a single payment portal called Pay With PlugShare, which EV charging networks can join if they wish https://help.plugshare.com/hc/en-us/articles/7678161142035-Get-started-Pay-with-PlugShare I am not aware of any Australian networks joining Pay With PlugShare yet or what fees are involved to join. Australian EV networks currently choose to retail direct to their customers through app, RFID, credit card reader or QR code.

  • ABRP A Better Routeplanner app, in Apple or Android, is a locator and route planner app.  ABRP is owned by the US company Rivian Automotive, Inc.  ABRP website is https://abetterrouteplanner.com/
  • AMPECO is a white label app provider. Their website describes their business as “AMPECO offers a white-label EV charging management solution, that includes a backend platform, web portal, and mobile app for drivers.   • Bright Connect , have a Bright Charge app on Apple https://apps.apple.com/au/app/bright-charge/id6748662549 and Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bright.brightcharge&hl=en_AU

  • Charge@Large app is a locator app under development by the Electric Vehicle Council of Australia Limited. At its present stage of development, at November 2025, the app shows the locations of chargers from 11 of the 35 EV charging networks.

  • ChargeBoss are a provider of ev chargers and software in Australia. They don’t have an app but have a payment gateway.   • GreenFlux Assests B.V. is a backend platform provider, providing services to Origin 360 EV and Charge Assist. Website https://www.greenflux.com/
  • Kuga Charge has an app on Apple and Android and at 12 Dec 2025 has one AC station at Truganina Vic. Kugacharge is by Kuga Energy, a business name of Kuga Australia Pty Ltd. Kuga Charge app uses a skin and software back end provided by Wevolt.
  • NRG Charge EV Charging Network
    NRG Charge EV Charging Network, as of November 2025  has several private Type 2 sites in Sydney, NSW. App is NRG Charge on Apple and Android Company is NRG Technologies Pty Ltd

  • Sasscharge is a white label ev charging services platform that allows anyone to establish an ev charging network.   • Seavolt AC Church Point NSW

    Seavolt is a network that plans to providing DC & AC chargers at Marinas for both boats and vehicles. As at June 2025 it has chargers at Church Point in NSW.   • Thundergrid Australia have an EV charging app on Apple and Android and at March 2025 have one site in the ACT. You can order a Thundergrid RFID tag through their app. Company name is Landis & Gyr Pty Ltd. Website https://thundergrid.net
  • Universal Charge is an EV charging app on Apple and Android by Universal Energy Australia Pty Ltd who have one public DC charger at their office in Canning Vale WA. Website is https://universalenergy.com.au
  • Wallbox EV Chargers Sydney Markets Flemington NSW

    Wallbox has an EV Charging app that you can use for when people or businesses install and make available to customers or the public a Wallbox EV charger.
    The app doesn’t include a map.
    The app is on Apple and Android.
    App is tricky to use, to use public wallbox chargers, you need to tap the My pass symbol in the app.
    One set of Wallbox chargers known off is at Woomargama Hotel in NSW and another at Sydney Markets Flemington.

  • Wattshare DC at XPeng Parramatta NSW

    Wattshare has three locations in NSW as of 9 Dec 2025 at commercial sites (which don’t appear to be public).
